🏥 Newtown Station Delays Due to Medical Emergency
A recent truck breakdown on the M4 Motorway in Newtown, near Alice Lane, has now been successfully cleared, allowing for the full resumption of normal traffic conditions in the area.
The incident, which Transport for NSW reported as an unplanned breakdown, temporarily affected the northbound lanes of the motorway. During the disruption, a reduced speed limit of 40 km/h was put in place to ensure safety and manage the flow of vehicles.
Motorists travelling through Newtown would have experienced minor delays while the breakdown was active. However, authorities have confirmed the site is now clear, and the motorway is operating without any further impact from this event.
