Motorists in Tweed Heads are advised to prepare for upcoming nightly road closures on Ducat Street as Tweed Shire Council commences essential upgrade works.

The scheduled roadworks will affect Ducat Street between Kennedy Drive and Parkes Drive, with full road closures planned in both directions. These closures will occur overnight, from 6:00 PM to 5:30 AM, commencing each Sunday evening and continuing through to Thursday mornings.

Drivers are strongly encouraged to seek alternative routes during these hours to avoid significant disruptions. While the road is fully closed overnight, lane closures during active work periods may lead to delays of up to 10 minutes.
